The Book: Animals and society in Brazil from the 16th to the 19th century was published in 2017 Portuguese in Brazil. In 2021, its English edition was released by The White Horse Press. This book presents a pioneering overview of how colonial relations encompass interspecies relations, based in an interface between the fields of human-animal studies, colonialism, and environmental history.
We look forward to seeing everyone on the 30th!
