Dr. Miriam Adelman teaches in two graduate programs – Sociology, and Literary Studies – at the Universidade Federal do Paraná, in Curitiba, Brazil. She has been researching Brazilian equestrian cultures for over two decades.

Dr. Ana Lucia Camphora is an independent scholar of inter-species studies in environment, law, and medicine.
